Career Flight Plan: Destination Project Management* is a free, interactive event designed to help service members, veterans, military spouses, and those transitioning to civilian life translate military experience into a successful career in project management. Attendees will be introduced to Matt Quick, PMI’s Head of Military Affairs and Sergeant Major (Ret.), U.S. Army, as he describes how the project profession aligns with military leadership, planning, and execution—and how to access pathways, resources, and opportunities through PMI.
This program also features a firsthand career story and practical insights from a military professional who made the transition from Sergeant Major to Project Manager, offering real-world guidance on mapping your skills to project roles, communicating your experience to civilian employers, and building a clear plan for your next career destination. This event is not exclusive to a military audience. All are welcome to attend this uinqure learning experience. Find out more about PMI's Military Outreach Program.
*Career Flight Plan: Destination Project Management is not part of the Department of Defense or any of its components and it has no governmental status.
